About Simon

Simon practices law in a variety of different areas. He has extensive experience in supporting families with their wills and estate planning. He also has a background in corporate law, working with both new and established businesses to meet all of their legal needs, including incorporating new businesses, organizing their corporate structure, and assisting with commercial transactions, such as buying and selling businesses. Additionally, Simon has worked closely with a number of developers and land surveyors to assist with real estate development projects across Vancouver Island.

Simon grew up in Naramata, a small community in the Okanagan famous for its orchards and vineyards. As with many students, he worked in the vineyards and at summer camps for many years before graduating and moving to Vancouver to attend the University of British Columbia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science with a major in Biology before getting his Juris Doctorate from the Peter Allard School of Law at UBC.

After finishing law school in Vancouver, Simon and his wife moved to Nanaimo to start his legal career. They quickly fell in love with Vancouver Island and now happily call Chemainus home. After practicing for 7 years in Nanaimo, Simon is excited to join Stonebridge Law and practice in the Cowichan Valley. In his spare time, Simon loves being outdoors with his family and seeking out the many treasures the Cowichan Valley has to offer. You can usually find them hiking up a mountain, camping, floating down Lake Cowichan, or at the beach.
